My Favorites
I was inspired to write this blog entry mostly because of writers block. I am not much of a writer but I love to make lists. I make a list almost everyday. I love reading lists. I like TV shows about lists. It seems that most TV channels have a show that features a list of some sort. In fact ESPN, the E network, VH-1 base most of their programming around lists. MSNBC, AMC, A&E, Bravo and BET, just to name a few, feature lists as well. I read some great lists over the weekend. My good friend Aaron Parchem made the Olympics as a pair’s figure skater a few days ago. As I checked the internet for information on him I stumbled across his bio. His bio was short and funny, the bio you are about to read will be neither of those. I wanted to list some of my favorites so my readers can know more about where I’m coming from. It was too hard to list just one favorite for each so for some I listed two or three favorites.

Your favorite rock band is Phish, eh? So that's what the hippies are calling rock these days...
Anyway, I was at the NIN show at Rosemont Horizon in 1994. It was OK, but not as good as the 1995 REM show or the 1996 Smashing Pumpkins show.
But what do I know--I don't even like Phish.

Hey Nate, Great blog. I was was just thinking the only thing i know about Nate is his love for fantasy sports. Some things i found interesting were...
1) Cheetos.. i also love the puffs.
2) Homerun in Pizza? Cmon there is a lot better.
3)Charles Barkley? Wow.
4) Saved by the bell.. im with ya
5) Building forts, the best thing to do as a kid.

Mac Zima is my favorite malt liquor.
Aimee, I too was at the 95 REM concert (with Mike Schroeder) not that great although I don't really remember it that well. I was at 94 Smashing Pumpkins (Lollapalooza with Beasties, Tribe Called Quest, George Clinton) that was a great show as well.
Doug, Home Run Inn is good and I'm not talking about the frozen kind from the grocery store. I also like Giordano's stuffed pizza. Barkley was da bomb and is only getting better with age.
Mac I was mostly speaking of the indoor forts as well although I built some pretty kick ass out door ones too. My favorite one was adorned with a "No girls allowed" sign.

Hey N e - got lost looking for Fantasy Football Cheat Sheets info but found your great blog! My Favorites is not exactly Fantasy Football Cheat Sheets related, but I still gave it a good look and will come back.. Thanks.
